TWICE Strategy Versions: Megan Feature, TWICE-Only or Live?
There are three useful “Strategy” choices here: the studio single featuring Megan Thee Stallion, the TWICE-only studio recording, and “Strategy (Live)” on the 2026 Seoul live album. Check the feature credit and the album together. A familiar title, a film reference or a different running time does not tell the whole story.

Which “Strategy” do you want?
If you came from the music video with Megan, choose “Strategy (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)”. If you want the studio recording credited without her feature, choose the other “Strategy” entry on the same 2024 mini album. For the concert recording, open the 2026 live album and look for “Strategy (Live)”.
| Recording | Where to find it | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Strategy (feat. Megan Thee Stallion) | STRATEGY, track 1 — studio feature | 3:22 |
| Strategy — TWICE-only studio | STRATEGY, track 7 — currently labelled with the film reference on Apple US | 2:47 |
| Strategy (Live) | THIS IS FOR WORLD TOUR FINALE in SEOUL – LIVE, track 2 | 2:49 |
The two studio entries were already separate tracks on the mini album released December 6, 2024. JYP’s original tracklist names the Megan feature first and the unfeatured “Strategy” seventh. That is a more reliable starting point than assuming that every search result is the same recording.
Why does one result mention KPop Demon Hunters?
Apple US currently calls track 7 “Strategy (from the Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters)”. The film wording helps you identify that listing. It does not, by itself, establish a new recording date or a new master. The original mini-album tracklist already included the unfeatured version.
For a quick check, open the album rather than a mixed search page. Then check the track number, feature credit and version suffix. Save that exact entry to your playlist. This also helps when a platform shortens a long title on a small screen.

What the running times do—and don’t—tell you
In Apple’s metadata, the featured studio track runs about 35 seconds longer than the TWICE-only studio track. The live entry is only about two seconds longer than that TWICE-only studio entry. These are useful clues for finding a track, not a substitute for its credits.
A two-second difference cannot establish whether a concert arrangement is identical, whether crowd sound was edited, or who appears onstage. Nor should the music video’s full length be compared directly with the audio track: video storytelling can include time outside the song.
The live album was released October 16, 2026. Use its album-level date and “Live” label when you want that edition; a service may carry an older song date in an individual track’s metadata. Our TWICE live-album guide covers the full release and physical formats.

A small comparison worth making
Start with the credited feature, then the TWICE-only studio entry, then the live track. Keep the question narrow: which version do you want in your own listening queue? You do not need to decide which is the “definitive” one to enjoy all three.
For more concert-recording context, read why a live album may not contain the whole concert. That is a separate question from which “Strategy” recording you have opened.
