MAMA Awards 2026: Dates, Tickets and How to Watch
The 2026 MAMA Awards take place on November 20–21 at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan, with a worldwide live stream planned on Mnet Plus. The next date to know is sooner: the nomination broadcast begins on October 12 at 18:00 KST. If you are thinking about attending, the first advance ticket lottery opens October 13.
This guide separates the nominee announcement, ticket application and November ceremony so you can plan the right next step. See the calendar, find the nomination broadcast in your time zone, or check the ticket route.
The dates to put in your calendar
| Date | What happens | Your next step |
|---|---|---|
| October 12, Monday | Nomination broadcast at 18:00 KST / JST; first FANS’ CHOICE voting starts after the program. | Open Mnet Plus Live; read the voting rules when the ballot opens. |
| October 13–18 | Qoo10 Japan’s first advance ticket lottery application period. | Read the ticket notice before applying. |
| November 9–21 | MAMA FAN FESTA in Osaka and online through Mnet Plus. | Check the FAN FESTA hub for individual activities. |
| November 20–21 | Awards ceremony at Kyocera Dome Osaka: Friday and Saturday. | Use the official awards hub for the latest show and viewing details. |
The ceremony dates and global streaming plan come from CJ ENM’s announcement. The nomination and FAN FESTA dates are in CJ ENM Japan’s October 8 release.
What time is the nomination broadcast in the US and Europe?
Mnet Plus lists October 12, 18:00 Korea Standard Time. Japan has the same UTC+9 clock. Here is that single moment converted for several cities:
| City | Local date | Local time |
|---|---|---|
| Seoul / Osaka | Monday, October 12 | 18:00 KST / JST |
| New York | Monday, October 12 | 05:00 EDT |
| Los Angeles | Monday, October 12 | 02:00 PDT |
| London | Monday, October 12 | 10:00 BST |
| Paris / Berlin | Monday, October 12 | 11:00 CEST |
The official pages checked for this guide do not give a November ceremony start time. Do not use the nomination time for your awards-night reminder. Also check the November conversion again: the October table uses daylight saving time in the listed US and European cities.
How to watch from the US or Europe
Start with the official MAMA program page on Mnet Plus. CJ ENM has announced worldwide live streaming there. Before making a watch-party plan, check the event’s current viewing notice for your region, sign-in requirements and any price or replay conditions.
As a beginner, use the nomination broadcast to pick an artist or category to follow. A nomination and a performance booking are different announcements: look for a separate official lineup before expecting your favorite group on either ceremony day.
If you want to attend in Osaka
The official MAMA hub links to Qoo10 Japan. Its first advance round is a lottery, rather than a first-come sale.
The seller lists applications from October 13 at 12:00 to October 18 at 23:59, results planned for October 21 at 12:00, and a payment deadline of October 23 at 23:59. These clocks are reproduced from the Japanese notice, which does not label their time zone in the text checked; confirm it with Qoo10 before using an overseas reminder.
Choose either Visa advance or FESTA SUPER PASS advance. Visa advance uses Visa cards. Pass holders still apply separately for the matching ceremony chapter. Reserved seats cost ¥25,000 plus fees; check premium-seat conditions in the notice.
Tickets are electronic, with identity-check conditions and restrictions on changes, cancellations and refunds. Before applying from abroad, confirm your account, payment and name-registration requirements with Qoo10’s current notice.
For the journey, use the venue’s official access maps and accessibility information. Check your event entrance separately from the station route. Our first K-pop concert guide covers ticket and packing basics; Osaka attendance must follow this event’s own rules.
Is FAN FESTA the same as the awards ceremony?
Think of it as a wider fan-event program around the awards. CJ ENM Japan describes activities in Osaka and online from November 9–21. That overall window does not tell you when each activity runs or what a pass includes. Check the official FAN FESTA program before adding a stop to your itinerary.
