Read the benefit before planning the trip

An invitation admits only its winner and cannot be transferred. Standard invitations cover the ceremony; red-carpet invitations cover both. Travel and accommodation are your expense. Reply to the winner notice sent to your registered email within seven days.

Price the journey before committing: getting to Osaka, sleeping there and getting home. A useful personal test is whether you would feel comfortable paying that total for the experience you want.

Before you decide

Regional restrictions apply. Under-14s need guardian consent. Invitation winners under 19 need guardian consent, documents and a guardian with them.

If Osaka is already in your plans, this can be an extra possibility to consider. If you would travel only after winning, keep your planning flexible until you have the actual invitation details. Treat a guessed seat, companion arrangement or artist appearance as something to verify before spending money.
