aespa Songs in English: Three Tracks Before Your First Concert

Try “Life’s Too Short (English Ver.),” “Better Things” and “Hold On Tight.” They offer three entry points if you want to get familiar with aespa through English-language songs before a first concert. Save the exact versions, learn a chorus at your own pace, and then explore beyond them. This is a listening route, not a setlist prediction.

1. “Life’s Too Short”: choose the version with the label

This is the clearest starting point because the name does the sorting for you. The official digital-single entry identifies “Life’s Too Short (English Ver.)” and dates it June 24, 2022.

That suffix matters. The Girls track list contains “Life’s Too Short” and separately lists the English version as a bonus track. A search result showing only the short title may not be the version you meant to save.

For a first exercise, follow the chorus in the official MV below, then try the recording without watching the screen. Recognizing a repeated phrase is a perfectly good first step; you do not have to learn every line before enjoying the group.

2. “Better Things”: try a different kind of hook

“Better Things” is another English-language choice, with a direct, repeated hook. Its official Warner release announcement dates the single to August 18, 2023 and links the full music video. Use the original SMTOWN MV below rather than a teaser or a fan compilation.

Keep this listen simple: find the point where the main phrase returns. Compare that pattern with “Life’s Too Short” and decide which one you want to replay. This route is about giving yourself a few familiar anchors, not choosing a “correct” favourite.

3. “Hold On Tight”: the soundtrack connection

If you arrived through the Tetris film or its game association, this may be your easiest doorway. The official aespa MV identifies “Hold On Tight” as part of the Tetris Motion Picture Soundtrack. It is an English-language recording, and a soundtrack credit is different from being the title track of an aespa mini-album.

You can enjoy it without learning the group’s fictional world first. Let the repeated title phrase be your anchor; the member names and release history can come next.

Will these songs be at my concert?

Familiar songs can make the preparation more enjoyable, but they are not a guarantee. The official 2023 SYNK : HYPER LINE concert release lists both “Life’s Too Short (English Ver.)” and “Hold On Tight.” That documents an earlier performance programme. It does not confirm a 2026–27 show’s running order.

Also keep language and release labels separate. The official site calls July 2026’s KISS N TELL a Japan first mini-album; an English-looking title alone does not tell you the language of its lyrics. Check the specific recording instead of sorting music by the alphabet on its cover.
