Bruno Mars: Best Songs, The Romantic & 2026–27 Tour Guide

AMERICAN POP • ARTIST GUIDE
Updated October 4, 2026 (KST). All event dates and times below are local to the event city.

Bruno Mars is an American singer, songwriter and producer whose music moves between pop, R&B, soul and funk. If “APT.” with ROSÉ brought you here, try “24K Magic” for his party side and “Just the Way You Are” for his softer one. His fourth solo album, The Romantic, arrived on February 27, 2026, and his official tour page currently lists upcoming October shows in California and Vancouver, followed by dates in Mexico and a 2027 international run.

Here is a practical introduction to the artist, the songs worth starting with, and the concert details to check before you spend money on a ticket.

For a newcomer, the useful distinction is between his solo catalogue, credited collaborations, and Silk Sonic. They share an artist, but they are not interchangeable album titles or tour names.

Why his music is easy to get into

Bruno's songs often put a clear melody over a rhythm you can feel immediately. A ballad can sound direct and conversational; a dance track can feel playful without letting the vocal disappear into the production. That range makes a short listening list more helpful than simply pressing play on whichever song has the biggest number beside it.

The awards tell part of the story. 24K Magic won Album of the Year at the 2018 GRAMMYs, and “Die With a Smile,” with Lady Gaga, won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2025 awards. For your first listen, though, start with the mood you want: a warm ballad, a sharp groove, or a duet.

Five essential songs—and what to listen for

This is our suggested listening route, not a chart ranking or a confirmed concert setlist.

1. “Just the Way You Are” — start with the voice

The attraction is how plainly the song makes its point. A bright melody and an open, affectionate delivery keep it approachable, even if you do not normally listen to love songs. Put this first if you want to hear the singer before the showman.

2. “Locked Out of Heaven” — turn up the momentum

The rhythm gives this track its spring, while the chorus opens into something bigger and more urgent. Listen to the relationship between the clipped verses and the release of the hook. It is an effective bridge from his melodic pop to his more physical, dance-driven side.

3. “24K Magic” — for the full party mood

This is all about swagger, space and groove. The rhythm leaves room for the vocal to play, and the hook feels designed for a roomful of people. Try it when a playlist needs a lift rather than another dramatic ballad.

4. “APT.” — ROSÉ and Bruno Mars

The appeal is immediate: a chant-like hook, lively exchanges and a mischievous sense of fun. For readers arriving from K-pop, it is an inviting crossover track. Then follow it with a solo song to hear how Bruno's energy works outside the duet.

5. “Die With a Smile” — Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars

After the brighter tracks, this duet changes the temperature. Its emotional weight comes from two voices answering and supporting one another, with a chorus that invites a big singalong. It makes a satisfying end to this five-song introduction.

One credit worth getting right: “Uptown Funk” is credited to Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars. And “Leave the Door Open” belongs to Silk Sonic. Both are useful next listens, but neither should be presented as a song from The Romantic.

What's new: The Romantic

Atlantic Records' February 27, 2026 release notice identifies The Romantic as Bruno's fourth solo album. Apple Music lists nine tracks and a 31-minute running time. “I Just Might” and “Risk It All” are practical starting points for exploring the current release; the latter arrived with an official video.

That gives a new listener two manageable routes: try the five-song introduction above, then hear the new album in order. Use the official music page or the album's Apple Music listing to choose an authorised service. This guide's older-song recommendations are not a claim that every track will be performed on tour.

Bruno Mars tour dates: the next stops to check

Schedule checked October 4, 2026. This shortlist uses the current official tour page, rather than only the first announcement. Dates are grouped by city; each listed date represents a separate show. Ticket availability and prices were not fixed by this guide.

October 10, 11, 2026Santa Clara, USALevi's Stadium
October 14, 16, 17, 20, 21, 2026Vancouver, CanadaBC Place
December 3, 4, 7, 8, 11, 2026Mexico City, MexicoEstadio GNP Seguros

May 21, 22, 25, 26, 29, 30, 2027Goyang, South KoreaGoyang Stadium

The longer itinerary also includes other Japanese cities, Australia, New Zealand and additional Asian stops. For South Korea, Live Nation Korea lists the Goyang engagement. The venue is in Goyang, even when an organiser uses “Seoul” as the broader market label; plan transport to the actual stadium.

Tickets, support acts and the details people miss

Start with the artist's tour page and follow the ticket link for the exact date you want. A registration page, an event listing and a purchasable seat are different stages. Check the final seat location, fees and transfer rules before completing an order; this article does not quote a universal ticket price.

For October 7 at SoFi Stadium, the venue lists 7 p.m. as the event start and names Anderson .Paak as DJ Pee .Wee and RAYE on the bill. That is not a promise that Bruno begins his own set at 7 p.m. The original Live Nation announcement names DJ Pee .Wee across the tour and additional support in selected markets; use your particular event page for the current bill.

Ticketmaster's tour help page says the scannable mobile barcode is estimated to become available around 48 hours before the event. Seeing an order without a barcode earlier than that can be expected. Check the app and your booking instructions, and add tickets to a supported mobile wallet before travelling. The same help page says age restrictions may apply, so families should check the venue's rule for their show.

SoFi is a cashless venue. Its event page links separate parking, transport and bag-policy information. A concert ticket does not settle those arrangements: choose a transport plan and check bag rules before leaving home.

Fan events: Hello Kitty pop-ups

The official tour companion page lists Hello Kitty × Bruno Mars pop-ups. As checked October 4, their published hours are 11 a.m.–7 p.m.:

  • Los Angeles: September 29–October 7 — 9016 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA 90069.
  • Santa Clara: October 9–11 — location listed as “Coming Soon.”
  • Vancouver: October 13–21 — location listed as “Coming Soon.”

Check the official pop-up page before making a special trip. It describes merchandise availability; it does not announce these as artist meet-and-greets. The Toronto flower-truck photo above documents a separate February promotion, not these October pop-ups.

Three questions new fans ask

Is Bruno Mars American?

Yes. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Bruno Mars is his professional name; his birth name is Peter Gene Hernandez.

Is he a solo artist or part of a group?

Both descriptions apply in different contexts. He releases music as Bruno Mars and also works with Anderson .Paak as Silk Sonic. A Bruno Mars tour listing is not automatically a Silk Sonic show.

Will ROSÉ or Lady Gaga appear at his concert?

A studio collaboration does not confirm a concert guest. Use the published bill for your event; this guide does not announce either artist as a guest or promise that a duet will be performed.

Exploring more English-language pop? Try our Westlife songs and European tour guide. For another crossover listening route, see our K-pop songs on Billboard guide.

Our pick: begin with “Just the Way You Are” and “24K Magic,” then try the new album. If a concert is the goal, choose your exact show date before comparing seats, travel and fan events.
