Westlife Members, Best Songs & 2026 European Tour Dates
EUROPEAN POP • BEGINNER'S GUIDE
Updated October 4, 2026. Concert dates are local to each venue.
Some pop groups win you over with a beat. Westlife make their case with a chorus. If you have ever stopped mid-conversation when “My Love” came on, you already understand the appeal: a melody that feels familiar almost immediately, voices that fit together, and a final chorus designed to be sung at full volume.
The Irish group are a good place to start exploring European pop beyond your usual playlist. This guide covers who Westlife are, which songs to try first, and selected October–November 2026 tour dates—including a venue change that could easily catch travelling fans out.

Who are Westlife?
Westlife formed in Ireland in 1998. Their history includes a split in 2012 and a reunion in 2018; the established four-member group comprises Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne. The original five-member lineup also included Brian McFadden.
Their UK chart record gives newcomers a useful sense of their reach: Official Charts lists 14 Number 1 singles. “Swear It Again” began that run in 1999. But the number is less interesting than the sound behind it. Their best-known ballads keep the melody at the centre, letting the arrangement grow around it rather than crowding it out.

The members—and the lineup to expect on tour
Learn the four names first: Shane, Mark, Kian and Nicky. When exploring older videos, remember that different periods of the group's history can show different lineups. The archive concert photos in this article help put that long history in context.
For a 2026 ticket decision, use the current event announcement rather than an old photograph. AFAS Dome's anniversary-tour page specifically names Shane, Nicky and Kian as the touring performers. That should not be read as a promise of a four-member appearance or of Mark returning on a particular date. Check the announcement for your chosen show if the lineup is central to your plans.
Five Westlife songs to start with
Here is our suggested listening route, rather than a ranking of sales or a prediction of the tour setlist. Start with headphones; save a second listen for a moment when you can sing along.
1. “Flying Without Wings” — for the slow build
This is the clearest introduction to the Westlife ballad. The opening gives the voice room, then the song gradually widens into a chorus with real lift. Listen to how much of the effect comes from restraint before the bigger finish. If you try only one track, make it this one.
2. “My Love” — for an instantly memorable chorus
“My Love” brings a little more movement without losing the group's romantic centre. The melody carries a sense of longing, while the chorus opens the song up beautifully. It is an easy next step for listeners who enjoy polished vocal pop and want a tune they can remember after one play.
3. “Swear It Again” — to hear where the chart story began
Try this after the two bigger emotional introductions. Its appeal is direct: a sincere delivery, an uncluttered melody and an arrangement that supports the promise at the heart of the song. It also offers a useful reference point for hearing the group's later work.
4. “World of Our Own” — for the brighter side
A Westlife introduction does not need to stay in ballad mode. This is the change of pace: brighter, bouncier and suited to a playlist that needs some forward motion. Put it between slower songs rather than leaving every upbeat track until the end.
5. “You Raise Me Up” — for the sweeping finish
The scale is the attraction here. The arrangement asks for a large emotional response, and the vocal performance meets it. It is a strong closing choice for this short listening route, particularly if you like songs that rise towards a broad, uplifting final section.

London dates, doors and ticket details
The O2 lists Ana Sky as the special guest. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. on October 9 and 10, and 6 p.m. on October 11. Those are entry times, not a confirmed time for Westlife to begin performing.
Use the venue's event page to reach its official ticket seller, AXS. The O2 also directs customers buying through its website or AXS to display their tickets on a phone using The O2 app. Set that up before arriving, and follow the instructions in your booking email. For resale, the venue identifies AXS Official Resale; it warns that tickets bought through other resale websites may not be valid.
Fan experiences: read what the package actually includes
A premium ticket is not automatically a chance to meet the group. AFAS Dome lists several VIP tiers, and its Ultimate package includes an on-stage photo opportunity with the explicit note “No artist participation.” Compare the seat, merchandise and experience details before paying extra. Buy a package for what it states, not for a hoped-for meet-and-greet.
For updates, use the group's official Live page and newsletter, then check the venue page for entry arrangements. A fan-shared date can be a useful lead; it is not enough on its own to book a flight or a hotel.

Questions new listeners often ask
Are Westlife British?
They are an Irish group. Their strong UK chart history and frequent UK concerts can make the distinction easy to miss.
Why is the tour called “25” if they formed in 1998?
The anniversary refers to 25 years since their first world tour, as explained in the group's Reuters interview. It does not mean the group first formed 25 years before 2026.
Will all four members perform at my show?
The current AFAS Dome announcement names three touring members: Shane, Nicky and Kian. Check your event's latest billing; this guide does not confirm a return date for Mark.
Which song should a K-pop listener try first?
Start with “Flying Without Wings” if vocal blend and emotional build are what you love. Pick “World of Our Own” if you want a brighter entry point. Then compare how the group use a chorus across the five-song route above.
