The easiest way to understand BTS is to hear more than one side of the group. A bright pop single gives you one entry point; a rap-heavy track or a quieter song gives you another.

Who are the seven BTS members?

Start with the stage names. You will see “Jung Kook” written as two words on official pages, although “Jungkook” is common in searches.

MemberA useful starting point
RMOne of the group’s three rappers; listen to the rap verses and songwriting.
JinOne of the four vocal members; compare his lines with the other singers.
SUGAPart of the rap line alongside RM and j-hope.
j-hopeThe third member of the rap line; his stage name is styled with a lowercase j.
JiminPart of the vocal line with Jin, V and Jung Kook.
VA vocal member whose stage name is the single letter V.
Jung KookA vocal member, officially styled Jung Kook.

Those labels are a starting point, not a limit on what each member does. The group’s catalogue includes solo and sub-unit songs as well as full-group tracks.

Three BTS songs to try first

You do not need to work through every album in order. Try these three, then follow whichever sound makes you want to listen again.

  • “Dynamite”: a lively pop entry point and BTS’s first song released entirely in English. The official release page links to the music video.
  • “I NEED U”: try this next if you want to explore the group’s earlier material. Find it on The most beautiful moment in life pt.1.
  • “Run BTS”: a good next listen from Proof. If you want a wider introduction, that anthology also collects earlier singles and member-selected solo or sub-unit tracks.

For the current chapter, move on to ARIRANG. BIGHIT describes the 14-track album as a full-group return, with the members involved in songwriting and production. This listening list is an editorial selection, not a ranking or a promised concert setlist.

ARMY, Weverse and fan events: what is the difference?

ARMY is the name of the fan community. ARMY MEMBERSHIP is a separate paid fan-club product. You can enjoy the music and follow public updates without buying membership.

Use the BTS Weverse notices for concert announcements, fan-club applications and event instructions. A social-media poster can point you toward a notice, but the notice is where you check eligibility, deadlines and the official ticket seller.

For events, distinguish a concert ticket from a fan-club benefit. A presale registration, raffle entry or booth application has its own rules; none should be treated as automatic admission to a show. The Latin America presale required an advance Weverse application, and its April 2026 application and sales-opening dates are already past.

FESTA is another name new fans encounter. Previous official FESTA events have taken place around June 13. Those older notices explain the tradition; they are not open applications for a future edition.

Confirmed 2026 ARIRANG tour dates to check next

The following is a selected list of upcoming shows as of October 3, rather than the entire tour itinerary. The October entries highlight officially announced additional dates; other shows in those cities are not listed here.

October 14Santiago, ChileEstadio Nacional
October 21La Plata, Argentina (Buenos Aires stop)Estadio Único de La Plata
November 19, 21–22Kaohsiung, TaiwanKaohsiung National Stadium

December 12–13Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaTM Stadium Nasional
December 17, 19–20, 22SingaporeNational Stadium
December 26–27, 29Jakarta, IndonesiaGelora Bung Karno Main Stadium

Check the official additional-show notice for the October entries and the official tour website for the Asia dates and ticket links. An announced show does not mean tickets remain available. Prices, seat inventory and entry rules must be checked with the seller linked for that city.

Before booking travel: confirm the exact date, stadium address, ticket-holder identification requirements and venue entry policy. La Plata is the venue location for the Buenos Aires stop, so plan transport around the stadium rather than only the city name on the tour poster.

Where to follow BTS without missing the important details

BIGHIT has warned about fake membership and ticket websites. Its notice says ARMY MEMBERSHIP registration is available through Weverse. Start there, and use the ticket destination in the relevant official concert notice instead of an unfamiliar link in a comment.

Three questions new fans often ask

Do I need to speak Korean to get into BTS?

No. Start with an official music video and use subtitles when they are available. “Dynamite” is entirely in English, while exploring Korean-language songs helps you hear more of the catalogue.

Does ARMY MEMBERSHIP include a concert ticket?

Treat membership and concert admission as separate things. Check the show’s notice for any membership presale or raffle requirements, then obtain a valid ticket through its official seller.

Are the tour dates in this guide in Korean time?

No—the table uses local venue dates. Weverse application deadlines may be given in KST or several time zones, so read the deadline attached to your event rather than converting from the concert date.
