BLACKPINK Members & BLINK Guide: Songs, DEADLINE and Fan Events
By Kpop From Seoul · Published October 3, 2026 · Group and event information checked October 3, 2026
BLACKPINK is a four-member K-pop group: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa. Their fans are called BLINK. If you know the name but have only heard a chorus on your feed, the best way in is simple: learn the four faces, play a few full songs, then catch a performance.
This guide brings together the essentials, the 2026 mini album DEADLINE, and the fan-event dates that still appear in searches. The dates matter: a tour poster from January or an anniversary notice from August is useful history, but it is not an upcoming ticket opportunity in October.

BLACKPINK at a glance
| Question | Quick answer |
|---|---|
| Who are the members? | Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa |
| When did BLACKPINK debut? | August 8, 2016, with the single album SQUARE ONE |
| What is the fandom called? | BLINK |
| Who handles group activities? | YG Entertainment |
| What is the latest group album listed by YG? | DEADLINE, the third mini album, released February 27, 2026 |
BLACKPINK’s songs often move between crisp rap sections, melodic vocals and a chorus built for a crowd. For a first watch, try a music video and then its dance-practice version. The second strips away the scene changes and makes the formation work easier to follow.
Meet the BLACKPINK members
The birthdays below come from YG’s official member profile. Rather than trying to memorize every fan nickname at once, start with each member’s name and notice how their voices and performance styles fit together.
Jisoo
Birthday: January 3, 1995. Jisoo’s lower vocal color is a useful listening cue when you are learning to distinguish the members. Watch a full performance rather than a short edit; it gives you more time to match the voice to the face.

Jennie
Birthday: January 16, 1996. Jennie moves between rap and sung passages. Follow those changes in a group track: they are part of the contrast that keeps a BLACKPINK song moving.

Rosé
Birthday: February 11, 1997. Rosé’s bright, textured vocal tone can be one of the easiest voices to pick out. Listen closely to the melodic sections before the chorus, where the song often changes pace.

Lisa
Birthday: March 27, 1997. Lisa is a good starting point if choreography brought you here. In a dance-practice video, follow the footwork as well as the big gestures; the smaller movements help explain the precision of the performance.

Which BLACKPINK songs should you hear first?
Use this as a short listening route rather than a ranking. It takes you from the debut to later group releases, with room for both the harder-edged tracks and the brighter pop side.
| Start with | Where it fits |
|---|---|
| “WHISTLE” and “BOOMBAYAH” | The two debut tracks on SQUARE ONE (2016). Play them together to hear two different openings to the group’s story. |
| “AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST” | The 2017 digital single is a useful next stop if you want a brighter pop entry point. |
| “DDU-DU DDU-DU” | A track to pair with its dance practice when learning the group’s performance style. |
| “Shut Down” | A later group track from the BORN PINK era. Its video also rewards a return visit after you know the older videos. |
| DEADLINE | Finish with the 2026 mini album to bring the listening route up to the current group release. |
Use BLACKPINK’s official channels linked through YG’s BLACKPINK page for videos. A fan-made compilation can be fun later, but a complete official performance is easier to follow when you are still learning the members.
What is on the 2026 DEADLINE album?
YG lists DEADLINE as BLACKPINK’s third mini album, released on February 27, 2026. Its five tracks are “JUMP,” “GO,” “Me and my,” “Champion” and “Fxxxboy.” “JUMP” had already arrived as a digital single on July 11, 2025.
The album and the world tour share the name DEADLINE, which can make search results confusing. An album-release announcement and a concert announcement are separate things. Check the date and city before treating either as a new event.
BLINK fandom: how to follow and join
BLINK is BLACKPINK’s official fandom name. You can enjoy the music and call yourself a fan without buying anything. Paid BLINK Membership is a separate Weverse product, with eligibility and benefits described on its own product page.
For a practical first step, follow the BLACKPINK Weverse notice board. If you are considering membership, read the current BLINK Membership listing before paying. Global and Japan memberships should be checked separately, and a membership kit is a separate purchase.
Presales also need their own attention. YG’s Hong Kong tour notice explicitly said that membership or presale registration did not guarantee tickets. For a future show, read that show’s notice for registration deadlines, the applicable membership and the local ticket vendor.
BLACKPINK concerts and fan events: what has already happened?
Status as of October 3, 2026: the dates below are past dates. In the official material checked for this guide, no new upcoming full-group concert or fan-meeting date was verified. Keep the Weverse notice board and YG concert page bookmarked for fresh announcements.
| Event / update | Official dates | Status now |
|---|---|---|
| DEADLINE tour — Tokyo Dome | January 16–18, 2026 | Past tour dates |
| DEADLINE tour — Kai Tak Stadium, Hong Kong | January 24–26, 2026 | Past; the tour’s final stop listed by YG |
| DEADLINE mini-album release | February 27, 2026 | Released |
| 10th-anniversary Weverse badge | Membership eligibility cutoff: August 6, 2026, 11:59 p.m. KST. Distribution began August 8 at 2 p.m. KST. | Eligibility cutoff has passed |
| 10th-anniversary fan-letter template | August 8–September 16, 2026 (KST) | Availability period ended |
For the anniversary badge, the official notice named eligible Global/Japan membership holders and pointed to Weverse → More → My Collection → Badge. The special fan-letter template had its own closing date. Neither notice should be read as an open application today.
Before you plan a fan event
Read the original notice all the way through. Check the year, time zone, application window and whether the event is a concert, a fan meeting, a pop-up or an online activity. Then follow the ticket or application link from that notice. A translated screenshot often leaves out the eligibility rules.
If you are searching for events in Seoul, keep official appearances separate from fan-organized birthday cafés. A café event can be a way to meet other fans, but it does not establish that a member will attend. Check the organizer’s current dates and location before making the trip.
Quick questions new fans ask
How many members does BLACKPINK have?
Four: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa. Solo releases and individual appearances are separate from the group’s concert schedule.
Is BLINK Membership required to be a fan?
No. Paid membership is an optional product. Some specific events or presales may require it, so read the conditions for the event you actually want to attend.
Can I still buy tickets using a 2026 DEADLINE tour poster?
Check the full date first. The Tokyo and Hong Kong dates listed above were in January 2026 and are already past. This guide does not list a verified upcoming full-group show.
