ATEEZ Songs for Beginners: 3 Ways to Start
New to ATEEZ? Start with “BOUNCY” for playful, bass-led energy, “Answer” for a sweeping, celebratory chorus, or “HALAZIA” for dark drama. Pick the mood you already enjoy, then follow that song to a second recommendation below.
These are three different entry points into the group's music. If you usually choose pop by its hook, dance music by its rhythm, or a video by its atmosphere, there is a useful place to begin.
| You want… | Start here | Then try |
|---|---|---|
| A playful rhythm and plenty of attitude | BOUNCY | THANXX |
| A big chorus with a sense of celebration | Answer | WAVE |
| Heavy bass and a dramatic atmosphere | HALAZIA | INCEPTION |
1. BOUNCY: start with rhythm and attitude
“BOUNCY (K-HOT CHILLI PEPPERS)” is the title track of THE WORLD EP.2 : OUTLAW, released on June 16, 2023. In K-pop, a title track is the main song promoted from a release, usually with a music video.
The KQ album notes highlight its low, growling bassline and unconventional rhythm. That gives you a specific listening focus: how the bass and rhythm build the energy. This is our pick for someone who wants ATEEZ's playful side first, especially if movement matters more to you than a sentimental melody.

Next listen: THANXX — official music video. Keep the attitude, but switch textures. Its hip-hop-based pop arrangement uses a Latin-style guitar line, giving the rhythm a different character from BOUNCY's bass-led approach.
2. Answer: start with a chorus worth returning to
“Answer” leads TREASURE EPILOGUE : Action To Answer, released on January 6, 2020. It is a good alternative if BOUNCY's mischievous energy is not your usual starting point.
ATEEZ's official introduction describes a blend of EDM and hip-hop. EDM means electronic dance music. Our reason to choose it here is the expansive chorus and its celebratory feel: the song gives you a melody to come back to as well as rhythmic momentum.
When watching, look for the glass-raising gesture in the choreography. The group's official performance coverage identifies that move, a handy visual detail for recognizing this song again.

Next listen: WAVE — official music video. For a brighter change of scene, try its combination of moombahton, a dance rhythm, and country-style guitar. The shared-adventure theme offers another way into ATEEZ's uplifting side.
3. HALAZIA: start with atmosphere
“HALAZIA” is the title track of the single album SPIN OFF : FROM THE WITNESS, released on December 30, 2022. Choose this route if you are drawn to darker electronic music or videos with a strong sense of drama.
The KQ album description points to a heavy bassline, elaborate sound effects, and a message of hope in darkness. Listen for how those layers support the voices. That tension between the weight of the sound and the hopeful theme is the reason we suggest it as a separate entry point.

Next listen: INCEPTION — official music video. It keeps the emotional intensity while moving toward longing. The release notes for ZERO : FEVER Part.1 describe an emotional melody over a strong EDM beat and longing for an unreachable presence.
A few names to know
ATEEZ are a South Korean group with eight members: Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. You can enjoy a song before learning every name; the official profile is useful when you want to match faces to names.
Their fans are called ATINY, a name joining ATEEZ and destiny, as the members explain in their WIRED interview. If you see it in video comments, it refers to the fandom.
For your next step, save the first song that makes you want to return, then try its paired recommendation. BOUNCY → THANXX explores attitude; Answer → WAVE moves toward brightness; HALAZIA → INCEPTION follows emotional drama. You can build your own listening route from there.
